This app is an internal tool for staff of Dubai Property Snagging. It is not a consumer service and accounts are created only by a company administrator. This policy explains what the app stores, why, and for how long.
Who runs it
Dubai Property Snagging is the data controller. The app runs on a private server rented by the company and is not shared with any other organisation.
What we store
- Your account — your name, the username your manager gave you, your role, and a one-way scrambled version of your password. The password itself is never stored and cannot be read by anyone, including an administrator.
- Work you record — petrol fills, car washes, oil changes, repairs and other vehicle costs you enter: the amount, the date, the vehicle, the odometer reading and any note you add.
- Your cash float — what the company issued to you and what you have spent against it.
- Your work schedule — inspection appointments read from the company’s own scheduling system, so the app can remind you before each one.
- Notification permission — if you switch alerts on, the app stores the token your phone or browser issues so reminders can be delivered. It identifies the device, not you personally, and is deleted when you switch alerts off or sign out of that device.
- Sign-in records — the time you signed in and the network address it came from, kept so unauthorised access can be spotted.
What we do not collect
- No location or GPS tracking. The app never asks for your position.
- No contacts, photos, microphone, camera or files.
- No advertising identifiers, and no advertising of any kind.
- No analytics or tracking services. There are no third-party trackers in the app.
Why we store it
Solely to run the business: to reimburse what you spend, to keep the vehicles serviced, to plan inspection work, and to send you the reminders you have agreed to receive. Nothing is used for profiling or automated decisions about you.
Who can see it
Your own entries are visible to you and to company administrators. Other staff cannot see your float or your records. Nothing is sold, rented or shared with advertisers or data brokers.
The company uses two service providers who process data only on our instructions: the hosting company that runs the server, and the push notification services operated by Google and Apple, which carry the alert to your device. Alerts contain only the reminder text you would see on screen.
Where it is kept, and for how long
Data is held on a private server and is encrypted in transit. Expense and vehicle records are kept for as long as the company needs them for accounting. Your account is removed when you leave and an administrator deletes it; you can ask for that at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data held about you, to have it corrected, or to have your account and personal entries deleted, by contacting us below. If your data is covered by the UAE Personal Data Protection Law or the GDPR, you also have the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your local regulator.
Children
The app is for company staff only and is not directed at anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date. Material changes will also be announced inside the app.
